The lovely and very Sweedish Columbine
How verging on lezzie is posting 8 pictures of the same woman? Answer: don't care. I haven't been so obsessed with a blog since I found say, the fashion toast or style by kling years ago. Her lifestyle meets fashion based posts are enough to make anyone with sense swoon with jealous. In a good way. Now say Bonj to Columbine and check her blog out here. P.S. Girl can rock a skirt.

Kate and Laura Mulleavy are back at Opening Ceremony to make the traditional traditional Scandinavian milk maid undeniably chic, cool(hello shoulder cutout), and believe it or not accessible. J'ai besoin I mean for real. In stores and online in October. No exclamation needed; you get the message.

Ease on the eye
Via stockholstreetstyle, TFS, fashiontoast, hanneli
Ease: it's what seperates those who possess true stlye from those who follow fashion. The ease of an outfit isn't even about the outfit at all. Ease takes longer to procure than a Birkin (hello, waitlist) and is more of a statement than a Tom Binns necklace or a Celine carryall. Whenever I try to examine and really get to the bottom of the editorials, street style pictures, collections, and even models that I love, it all comes down to the ease in which they work. The way a shirt hangs effortlessly or a model just is the face of a brand is what makes fashion transcend a season. It's what makes you remember and still think back and covet from time to time (Alexander Wang Spring 09 anyone?) even when it's not old enough to be vintage. Looking effortless, fresh, and, hell, like the clothes are an extension of you (you heard me), the only traits money can't buy, has to come from experience; has to come from living and thinking and figuring out what your clothes say about you. Style will be the product.
Please! nothing too contrived!
